My oldest daughter had been wanting to visit the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C. since she was in the 3rd grade. I didn’t really think she would appreciate traveling, until last year. So for her surprise gift at her Quinceanera, I booked us a trip to finally go visit! My parents came along and I’m so glad Luci and I got to experience it with them.
Adventure Sand
Earlier this year, I saw this layered sand in a mason jar idea somewhere on Pinterest. I wish I had started this sooner because I love the idea! So far we just have sand from San Diego and Pensacola Beach. It’s pretty cool seeing the color difference in the sand.
New York Take 1
My first time going to New York was about two and a half years ago. I was an inexperienced traveler, I didn’t take any worthy pictures and wore hideous outfits. I mean this first picture, just look at me! Hideous! Where was my scarf?! Or my pretty beanie!? Where was my makeup!? And my hair?! What a nightmare.
Family Vacation 2015, Pensacola Beach, Florida
Ever since I can remember my Grandfather used to take my family on a vacation to the beach. Every year we’d go down to the coast to Galveston or South Padre Island. Obviously not the best beaches, but all I have are good memories from every vacation. Many years later we still take a yearly vacation to the beach with the whole family! I’m really hoping my children continue the tradition when they’re adults.
