I fell in love with a Chloe, sheer polka dot, ruffle dress. When I went searching for the dress, I found it was $400! There was no way I was paying that for a dress that I would more than likely only wear one time. I looked online for something similar, but there wasn’t anything that I really loved, and nothing that I wouldn’t have to hem and or alter. I’m petite, so that’s the typical norm. So I just recreated the original, with lace instead of the sheer polka dot material. I believe I spent about $30 on the material and spent about 12 hours making it. And needless to say, I love it!
BP Grey Knit Turtleneck, Nordstrom
The only thing I like about being cold, or the winter months are boots, sweaters and scarves. Most sweaters are itchy and make my hair super staticy so it’s hard for me to find some that I absolutely love.
I’ve been looking for an oversized sweater that I could use with my over the knee Chinese Laundry boots. I checked out Nordstrom and found this Grey knit turtleneck by BP. This sweater isn’t itchy at all and is super soft and warm. I got an XL in this since I knew I wanted to wear it as a dress with the over the knee boots. I added some tiny spandex shorts underneath and I loved the look. It’s simple and sexy without looking like you’re even trying.
I’ve worn it to work with leggings underneath and as pictured for a chill night of wine and brewskies.
Also, I get asked on the daily where I’ve gotten my boots, so I’ve provided a link to it above.
Cheers everyone! Wishing everyone a year full of love, prosperity and health!
