As a child I used to watch a movie named Salsa. It was obviously a movie full of salsa dancing, not the best acting and probably totally inappropriate for a child! I grew up dreaming that one day I would make it to Puerto Rico too; and finally I did. I’m so extremely thankful for firsts and adventures!

~El Yunque Rainforest~
When I originally planned this trip I began looking for things I would want to do. Pictures of the rainforest kept coming up so I knew I had to go! It’s a definite must! I did a tour of the rainforest that included spending some time at Luquillo Beach. I wish I would have had a little more time there to explore, but at least I got to experience it.

~La Placita de Santurce~
You can’t go to San Juan without visiting the nightlife at La Placita. There are tons and tons of tiny bars, restaurants and live music within a 4 block square. We had so much fun walking around with our drinks and dancing to salsa music in the middle of the streets!
