We visited Old Town San Diego on day two. There were many Dia de los Muertos trinkets everywhere and women and children dancing ballet folklorico in the main square. There are lots of historic sites in here, as many consider it the “birthplace” of California. Many of the buildings were constructed in the 1800’s and I love the adobe and building structures. I love finding old unique doors, and I found one here!
My daughter and I decided to skip town and head to San Diego last month. We visited earlier this year but didn’t really get to sight see much. So we were excited to venture out and see parts of the city that we hadn’t been able to see!
Welcome! I’m a happy single mother living in the DFW area in Texas. I have three beautiful children who have the best personalities. They drive me crazy at times but I love being their Mom. I love being busy with their school functions, dance classes, baseball and soccer practices and games. There’s pretty much no better feeling than your child scoring a winning goal, making an A+ on her writing paper or catching a pop up winning his baseball tournament.
