Fort Worth Mavens; my networking group wanted to share some of our favorite charities that we are advocating for on North Texas Giving Day! I planned to share them separately on Instagram and on our Facebook page, but I thought it would be easier if they were all in one place. We would appreciate your support by donating to your favorite charity, even if it’s not on this list.
Here we go!
SafeHaven of Fort Worth
This charity is dear to my heart.
SafeHaven is a domestic violence service provider in Tarrant County providing assistance to families healing from violent relationships.
Our services include immediate shelter and housing, a 24-hour crisis hotline, support and counseling and legal counsel, as well as prevention and reformative services.

Gladney Center for Adoption

Assist the Officer Fort Worth
Officers place themselves in perilous situations every day; they do so out of passion to serve and protect their communities, their friends, and their families. Assist the Officer was founded so that when a death, unexpected illness, or serious injury occurs while doing the job they love, the community can give back to those, and the families of those, who protect it.
100% of the donations are going directly to the family of Officer Garret Hull who passed away on 9/14/18.
Girls Inc. of Tarrant County
The mission of Girls Inc. is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Girls Inc. of Tarrant County equips girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers and grow up healthy, educated, and independent. Girls build confidence and embrace positive decision-making to take charge of their health and well-being, and achieve academic, personal, and career goals. The Girls Inc. experience consists of people, environment, and programming that, together, empower girls to succeed.
