So as most of you know I’m single. I don’t really have time right now to date or go to new, appropriate places to meet new people. So when I noticed this handsome guy at the donut shop I was a little intrigued. Yes the donut shop. My kids and I go at least once a week and we are always there when this guy gets there.
Garth Brooks! Dallas, TX 9.19.15
Ever since I was a child I’ve always wanted to see Garth Brooks live. After 17 years Garth decided to make an appearance in Dallas! Yay!
Our seats were right to the side of the stage so we had an excellent view. Unfortunately I couldn’t take in my good camera, so had to settle with taking pictures with my iPhone. Blah.
Mexico vs. Argentina, Arlington TX 9.8.15
If you were at this game you felt the energy. If you had any friends on SnapChat who went to this game, you probably felt the energy too. I was so excited to go to this game you have no idea! Not only was I going to be sitting 16 rows up from watching the Mexico team but I was going to see the number one player in the world, Lionel Messi! (Who scored the final goal, boo.)
Facebooking
Oh Facebook. I have a love hate relationship with it. I think a lot of us do. After a very extensive talk, my friend and I have decided what we like and don’t like to see on the social media mogul. Some of these may or may not have been influenced by sitting on my porch drinking beer until midnight.
What we like to see:
- Pictures and funny videos of your kids, pictures of travels, your pets doing funny stuff, girls night, baby showers, special events, holidays, sporting events, engagements, weddings.. Basically a crap load of fun, positive stuff! We like to keep up with our friends’ lives. That’s what Fb is for right!?
- We like to hear that you want to chop your ex’s head off, as long as it’s funny. We want to be cheering for you like “Yeah, do it he’s annoying!” But we don’t want to be like “Umm maybe you should talk to a therapist..” Don’t be too creepy friends.
