To say that I love New York is an understatement. Each time I’ve left there, I feel like I’m leaving the love of my life and I’m leaving a little piece of my heart behind. I’ve been to New York three times and I feel like I haven’t seen more than 30% of it. Here’s a look at a few things I was able to see this time around.
Miami & Key West, July 2016
This was the first trip I’ve taken where I wasn’t in charge of finding hotels or flights or making itineraries. And I’m not going to lie, it sort of drove me crazy! I’m the type of person that wants to know everything about every little detail. There were a few mishaps but overall it was a great trip!
The 3 Stages of a Breakup
It’s breakup season. And lets face it; breakups suck. We all know this. We fall in love, believe we’re going to live happily ever after with that person, and for some reason or the other, it just doesn’t work out that way. Sometimes there are greater things in life than “Love.” My girlfriend once preached these stages to me, so I thought I’d pass them along to my friends; who are currently going through their own heartbreak. They probably seem a bit ridiculous at first, but once you look back, you’ll see how each stage is a step closer to healing your dumb little heart after being in love! It gets easier with time. Washington D.C., April 2016
My oldest daughter had been wanting to visit the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C. since she was in the 3rd grade. I didn’t really think she would appreciate traveling, until last year. So for her surprise gift at her Quinceanera, I booked us a trip to finally go visit! My parents came along and I’m so glad Luci and I got to experience it with them.
